Brisbane Outsider Artists
@ the Brisbane Powerhouse

Welcome to BOA
Become a collector

Outsider Artists share a common bond in their social status as outsiders and as artists practising and producing work on the edges of mainstream cultural activity. Currently, the work echoes across international borders with the development of the ABLE ART Network in Japan, EUCREA in Europe and the DADAA National Network in Australia. These networks include artists and administrators from Asia and Europe and the USA who work to promote and value the visual artwork of people experiencing disabilities to mainstream galleries and collections and to advocate on behalf of people with disabilities around the world.

BOA Studio is open Mondays - Tuesdays

Artists wishing to join BOA are invited to contact Jasmin Jacobson, Visual Arts Co-ordinator, on 3358 6200 or by email.

To enquire about purchasing BOA Artworks or commissioning an artist for an artwork, please contact Jasmin Jacobson, Visual Arts Co-ordinator, on 3358 6200 or by email.
