Karla Duvey
Karla has been profoundly deaf since birth and recently join BOA for term 4 2008. "I have had always wanted to learn about painting since I was a little girl. I'm interested in abstract more than any other form of painting as I feel I can express myself more in this form. I am enjoying myself and feel I have learned a lot in this short period of time. I enjoy using acrylics and have done screen printing, lino printing and have also done mosaics and etching at the Brisbane Institute of Art in recent years."
