Call for Proposals for Access Arts 2008 Program

Access Arts is planning its program for 2008. If you have a workshop in any art form - whether its performing arts, visual arts, or anything in between that you would like to be considered for our program, please send us a proposal. There are 4 workshop spots to be filled in 2008. You can click here to fill out a workshop proposal online, or you can download a Word version of the proposal form here, and send the completed form to our Administration Coordinator, Angela Jaeschke, by email.

Brisbane Sound Circles

Come along and enjoy a powerful voice and movement skills development workshop in Access Arts award winning Sound Circles program.
Where: Brisbane Powerhouse Stores Rehearsal Room
When: 4 x 8 week terms - 10 am - 12 am Saturdays
Workshop Dates:
Term 1: - 10th Feb – 31st March
Term 2: - 28th April – 16th June
Term 3: - 21st July – 8th Sept
Term 4: - 13th Oct – 1st Dec
Cost: $70 / term
Access Arts is seeking metropolitan and regional Arts workers to train as Sound Circles facilitators to meet community demand.

Brisbane Drumming Workshops
Drumming sessions are held on Friday afternoons from 12:00 - 2:00 pm in the BOA studio starting 16th February.
Professional drummer Ross Welsh, will work with the group fortnightly. The Drumming Workshops are free to Access Arts Members

When: Saturdays 1 pm - 3 pm

Term 2: Visual Arts
Where: BOA Studio
Dates: 26th May – 16th June 07

Term 3: Wheelchair Dancing
Where: Stores Rehearsal Room
Dates: 18th August – 8th September 07

Term 4: Digital Storytelling
Where: Stores Rehearsal Room
Dates: 3rd November – 24th November 07

*Please Note: for all workshops to go ahead, we require a minimum of eight participants to be enrolled. It is essential that you pre-book your place.

Brisbane Outsider Arts Studio
BOA is a studio for artists who want to develop their visual arts skills to a professional standard.
Attendance at BOA studio is by invitation only.
Artists receive professional development support, high quality materials and opportunities to exhibit in high quality exhibitions.
BOA studio is open two days per week
Cost is $70 per quarter.
